Some Cool Songs 🔊

Hey Guys, the year is 2026 and I am bringing this blog back from the grave.

I always wanted to give this blog more chaotic vibes, like early days internet ( back when internet was cool ). I wanted it to be about technical topics that I like, but also about random topics like recipes and … music.

So I can’t think about anything better to start this new phase other than writting about some cool bands I’ve been listening to.

Have a look on my recommendations 🤘:

▶️ If you like instrumental rock while coding, you have to check this one. These guys from Greece never disappoint. I found the title itself to be very interesting, also. I have the impression that modern academia became a place of inflated egos and kind of forgot that making science has to be, first of all, joyful.

▶️ This guys from Argentina came up with, perhaps, one of the coolest albums I discovered in 2024. As a side note: I hate that the Brazilians and Argentinians boomers created this nonsense rivalry between us. C’mon, listen to this guys.

▶️ This next one I found by chance while walking around the lake Lugano, Switzerland, in a random evening. They were putting an absolutely killer perfomance in a small open air stage to about 20 people. The funny fact about this evening is that there was a big, well equipped, stage close to this small stage. Only a few moments after they finished, some girls started perfoming on this bigger stage and they were so bad that that I’d rather listen to nails on a chalkboard. This big stage area was packed with people. Go figure!

▶️ I’ve listened to Protomartyr for the first time around 2023 and they haven’t left my playlist since then. The videoclip of this one is a must see, btw. ( For context: It is about the mythical battle between Galerito and Gil da esfiha. )

▶️ If you like analog synths, you have to check Ehsan Gelsi. He puts up great tracks to listen while coding.
